Transfer records to configured EHR fields with Nexus Bridge

Nexus Bridge is a browser extension that transfers NexusMed clinical record sections into configured fields of an EHR form. The clinician chooses a profile, checks the filled fields and saves the document manually. Compatibility must be assessed for your clinic’s specific form.

Updated:

Follow the transfer workflow

First, prepare and review the clinical record in the NexusMed cabinet. The transfer action sends the prepared document to the extension. Open the appropriate EHR form, choose a field-mapping profile and start insertion. The extension reports the outcome; the clinician retains control over content and saving.

  • Prepare a document using the appropriate NexusMed template.
  • Transfer the reviewed document to the extension.
  • Open the correct patient and EHR form, then choose the profile.
  • Check the filled fields and save manually.

Available profiles have a defined scope

Nexus Bridge includes profiles for a KLIENTIKS examination protocol and a shortened initial therapist consultation in Medesk. A profile maps document information to fields in a selected form. Its existence does not establish support for every screen, version or configuration of those systems. Check the exact form used by your clinic before rollout.

Review what was inserted

Confirm that the correct patient and document are open. Configured fields may be replaced with values from NexusMed; matching values are skipped. Review text, diagnoses and selected list options. Information absent from the document, or fields arranged differently in the target form, may require manual entry.

  • Compare source information with the filled fields.
  • Check all mandatory fields, including those outside the profile.
  • After saving manually, reopen the document and inspect it.

Understand compatibility boundaries

The workflow depends on the document template, profile settings, form version and browser environment. Universal API integration with every EHR is not claimed. Field insertion does not mean document signing or automated submission to a regulator. Saving and reopening in the operational EHR require a separate check. These profiles relate to specific Russian-language workflows and do not establish support for US EHRs or billing formats.

Prepare a compatibility check

Tell the team the EHR name, specific form and required fields. Use a de-identified document for the initial discussion. In an agreed test scenario, check transfer, insertion, manual edits, saving and reopening. Use the results to identify a suitable profile, changes and rollout process.

  • The EHR name and form version.
  • Required fields and lookup lists.
  • A test sample without a real patient’s data.
